White Plains (NY) (November 17, 2006) - Informa Investment
Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Informa Financial,
Inc., has released a new version of its industry-leading PSN
Enterprise system. The much enhanced PSN Enterprise includes
the new PSN investment manager database that was created through
the merger of the legacy Möbius and PSN databases, as
well as many features from the M-Search investment manager
database system that Informa acquired in February 2006.
The PSN database is the largest database in the industry
with data on over 2,000 investment management firms and 10,000
products. The database also offers many new data fields including
quarterly country allocation for international products and
qualitative information for each composite portfolio.
“The integration of the Möbius and PSN databases
was a significant event, and now we are delivering the most
feature-rich platform for analyzing this and other data sets
to our clients and the marketplace”, said Margaret Tobiasen,
senior vice president and head of the PSN/Research business
unit for Informa Investment Solutions.”
PSN Enterprise also contains the following new features
and options:
- Asset allocation optimizer and Monte Carlo simulator
- Screen by percentile rank using any universe and performance
statistic
- Create user defined returns-based style analysis models
- Dynamic narrative and data profiles
- Over 80 universes constructed using returns-based style
analysis
- Export calculated data for mutual fund and ETF subsets
